Goal: Isolate the Room
Layer this sound barrier membrane behind your drywall to help isolate one room's noise from the next.
Cloth wrapped sound panels that can serve a dual purpose. First, they will hold the noise to within the room, and second, serve to absorb your echoes to improve your room acoustics. Note that you must cover 100% of any common surface you seek to isolate from adjoining neighbors.
These are portable, temporary window covers designed to deaden sound bleed from escaping or entering through your windows. These are rugged, industrial blankets, they are not sheer curtains.
This is a mechanical clip system that you anchor to your wall in advance of attaching hat channels. The channels are mechanically snapped into place, over the top of your dB-Bloc layer, and prior to anchoring your finished drywall layer to the face of the channels.
For double drywalling a common wall or ceiling, apply this constrained layer damping material between the two layers of drywall to help further decouple structure born vibrations.
