Problem: Human voice and office equipment are both potential noise sources that can cause interference in an office environment. This threatens productivity and morale.
Goal: To lower reverberant echo in these rooms and yield more intelligible speech or quieter office machine. Also the need to contain noise to one room and prevent the tranmission through common walls.
Solution: First, if you're attempting to block sound from leaking into our out of a room, install our acoustic dB-Bloc barrier material on any common wall separating
you from the noise. For confusing reflective noise originating in the same room you are trying to protect, treat the nearby walls and ceiling area with a variety of potential products all designed to
dissipate the noise by absorbing the reflection and turning it into kinetic energy.
Products:dB-Bloc
barrier vinyl is a limp mass material available in 54" x 50' rolls. The weight of a single roll is more than 250 pounds, despite it's being just .10" thick. Ideal for placement on any common wall where noise
from copiers, computers, human voice, telephones, industrial plant noise, or more are infecting your work environment. The material can also be cut to lie on top of a ceiling tile system to prevent leakage in or
out of a room. Also consult with NetWell about structural things you can do to your existing wall prior to installing this material to help prevent structural vibration!
Ceiling Tiles are a distinct, attractive and highly absorptive acoustic treatment in any office setting. They are 2'x2' in size, available in a variety of beveled designs, easy to install and can be dropped into an
existing grid or glued direct to your ceiling! Pyramid Foam Panels can be installed around nearby computers, copiers, scanners, telemarketing stations, and other office related
sound sources to help lower the resulting echo of the noise reflecting off the wall surface. Use glue to install, or velcro for portability! Fabric Panels are also a popular choice for treatment around similar
office related noise sources. These panels are more rigid than foam, can be used as a tackable surface, and are offered in
40+ colors. Designed for either gluing or clipping to a wall surface. Silence Wallcovering is a thin, ribbed carpet like material that adds a
distinctive acoustic treatment to any room where human voice is the primary noise culprit! Not recommended for noise sources with low bass frequencies as this material is generally too thin to yield effective
results in that range. But for human voice, a wonderful compliment to a room's decor, and the least expensive product in the catalog! Silex Panels are a 2'x4' panel that compliments the Silence
Wallcovering material. Here we take a 1" flat foam backing and apply it to the Silence material for better absorption coefficients at the low bass end. FBF-lM Panels are 4'x4' sections of a layered material that can be cut
with a scissors and glued to the interior wall cavities of an enclosure surrounding a noisy computer, copier, phone, or other office sound source!
