The following sets of products are all designed to "block" or "combat" the direction of noise, rather than absorb echo. The ideal treatments for these products are to isolate walls, ceilings, floors or serve as enclosure liners.
Lined behind drywall to deaden sound bleed through a common wall or surface, for new build or existing, finished surfaces.
A clip system designed to anchor mechanically to your wall or ceiling and hold hat channels in place. Hat channels are one way to generate a disconnection, but simple furring strips can also work.
A constrained layering caulk that you spread between a double drywall assembly to help further decouple vibrations and force the collapse of a transmitting sound wave. Ideal for clients that double drywall over the top of your dB-Bloc treatment.
These are sound traps that anchor mechanically over the top of anticipated cutouts in your ceiling configuration prior to putting up drywall. Ideal for combatting sound bleed through light cannisters, smoke alarms, speakers and other cutouts in your ceiling.
These are decorative, cloth wrapped sound panels designed for a dual purpose. They will both "block" sound from bleeding through them, and "absorb" echoes bouncing back into the room. Note that with this treatment you will need to cover 100% of any common wall that separates the rooms you are trying to isolate.
These are sound barrier pads that you place on the backside of your electrical boxes prior to drywalling your wall. The pads help combat sound bleed through these cutouts.
A floor underlay that helps combat foot noise and isolate upstairs from down.
Rest these atop your existing ceiling tiles to help combat sound bleed through a drop grid tile system.
These are finished ceiling tiles lined with dB-Bloc, designed to rest in a grid to combat the bleed of sound through a drop grid tile system.
Wrap your pipes or ducts with this material to combat sound bleed through the walls.
For sound bleed through a wall, where a dB-Bloc treatment is not viable, consider free hanging a custom set of these QBS blankets against the wall. Ideal for wall treatments that don't require a finished look, such as a mechanical room, or where portability is required such as apartments, music rooms, and construction sites.
Cut and paste these panels to affix to the inside walls of an enclosure built around a nosie source.
