Goal: Isolate the Noise
The first approach should be to wrap your ductwork with NetLag. This is a sound barrier material designed to jacket around ductwork and keep airflow from vibrating out through the walls of the material:

For treatments where jacketing your Ductwork is not practical, consider isolating the perimeter walls or ceiling with these sound deadening materials:

Rest these Caps atop your existinig ceilingi tiles to deaden sound bleed through a drop grid tile system.
This is a mechanical clip system that you anchor to your wall in advance of attaching hat channels. The channels are mechanically snapped into place, over the top of your dB-Bloc layer, and prior to anchoring your finished drywall layer to the face of the channels.
