Flats are simply flat foam panels cut into 4'x4' flat sheets of 1" thick open cell polyurethane foam.    Flat polyurethane foam is also available in custom thicknesses as flat foam sheets for enclosure linings,  in roll sizes for bulk purchases or as flat foam panels for  OEM foam applications.   Call our help desk at 1-800-638-9355 for help.

We get unique requests for flat foam for a variety of treatments that include OEM applications, cushioning, decoupling, etc.    If you're attempting to use flat foam as an enclosure lining material, opt for the FBF1M panels instead.    The difference is dramatic in terms of your ability to isolate and contain noise to within an enclosed area.    Also note that this foam melts at 130 degrees surface temperature.   If you are in a high temperature environment, or near open flames, opt for the Flats Plus panels made of class A fire rated melamine foam which is heat resistant to 500 degrees, but nearly double the cost.
