Product Description
These RSIC-1 isolation clips are used in conjunction with corresponding furring channels for fastening gypsum
wallboard to a supporting wall structure. By isolating the wallboard from the wall, these RSIC-1 clips reduce the amount of impact and airborne sound filtering from rooms above, below or alongside.
Tips: Figure one clip for every 5 square feet of wall space being treated. Check with supplier regarding recommended dead load weight maximums. Installation Techniques: Apply RSIC-1 clips to walls with 2' type W wood screws. Clips should not exceed 48' on center maximum. Apply furring channels perpendicular to
framing. Locate first channel within 2" of floor and 6" from ceiling.
