Description                                                                    

Neoprene Pads are appropriate for interior or exterior applications.   These 60 durometer vibration isolation pads can accommodate loads from 5 to 125 psi and are designed to provide an interface between a machine foot and the floor, foundation or support structure.  Neoprene Pads are available in 18"x 18" sheets, 5/16" thick.  The material can be field cut to match the footprint of your machine.  Neoprene Pads are oil-resistant and feature a tread design that helps prevent oil, grease and dirt from accumulating beneath the load bearing surface which helps to prevent the machine from "walking".   

Neoprene Pads exhibit one smooth side and one "treaded" or "waffled" side.  Either side of the pad can be positioned against the floor surface and orientation is dependent upon the specific application.  Typically, the "treaded" side is placed against the floor surface with the smooth side interfacing with the machine foot.  This approach prevents oil, grease and dirt from accumulating within the pad cells.  Neoprene can be preferred over other materials for sanitary applications as some other materials can absorb foreign substances.  Neoprene can also be preferred for exterior applications where materials are subject to freeze/thaw scenarios. 

Neoprene Pads do not provide any leveling features.  If machine leveling is required, one must utilize other methods in conjunction with this product such as shims.  Consideration should be given to using a Level-Rite style mount, Tri-Wedge or IMW mount if leveling is required.
