QB Baffles are 2" thick fiberglass sound baffles cut to the standard size of 24" x 48", although custom sizes are also available.   These acoustical baffles are made from a fiberglass core encapsulated in a vinyl cloth cover.     The sound baffles are then run through a stitching machine, the edges are bound, and grommets are punched into these sound absorption baffles at the two corners for vertical suspension.   Ideal for controlling unwanted sound reflections in large industrial settings where soundproof ceiling treatments help control decibel level exposure.

These baffles are the perfect compliment to a blanket enclosure application down on the floor or against the wall in a factory setting.    QB Blankets on the wall will absorb sound reflections, while QBS or QBV Blankets can suspend vertically around a stationary sound source.   In turn, these QB Baffles can be suspended in a checkerboard pattern above the footprint of the factory floor area being targeted for sound control.

These baffles are stitched, quilted and grommeted, making them a more durable baffle than the other fiberglass baffles featured in our Product Guide.    Be sure to place the baffles in a non-parallel configuration to avoid the "combing" effect where sound waves have the chance to reflect up and back through parallel sets of baffles without ever being caught.
