QBV sound control blankets are durable acoustical curtains designed for harsher sound enclosure soundproofing applications.    These noise control blankets are the ideal sound barrier treatment for acoustical enclosures with abuse potential, or where flexibility in the acoustical blankets are required.   The QBS sound control curtains for noise enclosures or suspended sound barrier walls have the weighted dB-Bloc membrane exterior to the quilt,  unlike the QBS noise control curtain counterpart that has the vinyl lined inside the quilt.    This makes the QBV blanket more flexible, contourable, and durable.   Custom cut to the cavity size you seek, in a maximum width of 54" per section and a maximum length of up to 25'.    Each section is fully stitched, quilted, velcroed at the seams, and grommeted across the top for vertical suspension.

QBV Blankets are the equal to the QBS Blankets, except for the fact that the vinyl membrane is exterior to the quilted fiberglass, sewn onto the backside of each piece.    This is done for two purposes.   First, to make the blanket more contourable and user friendly for applications where rigidity of the blanket could hinder the treatment, and second, for greater durability.    The vinyl side exposed offers the blanket more protection.    The QBV blankets can be rolled up and stored when not in use, where as the QBS blankets cannot.

Note that each blanket section is cut to a maximum width of 54", and custom cut to lengths of up to 25'.    Each piece can be tailored to meet your needs, including cutouts, holes, slits, patches, windows, ventilation hoods and a variety of other custom cutouts to make the product work for your treatment.

While we recommend you construct your own frame to save on price, we do offer a tubular frame system designed to support your blanket treatment.
