Order Information
QBV-1 Blanket
ordering information of hearing protection and noise reduction products

Product Description-These quilted curtains differ from our QBS-1 Blankets in that the inner barrier septum is pulled out and sewn to the back of the quilted blanket. This provides more durability against wear and tear, as well as more contour capability around curved noise source areas. They provide equal results to the QBS-1 Blankets, and boast the same 15-20 average dB-Drop. Standard sizes are 54" widths x custom lengths, with velcroed sides and grommetted tops standard for easy hanging every 12" on center.

Reinforced loaded vinyl barrier blanket system with quilted fiberglass panel sewn into the side of the vinyl. External barrier system serves to deaden noise transmission, while the fiberglass blanket absorbs noise reflection. Ideal for high chip and splash potential areas where maximum abuse resistance is a must. Also ideal for lining enclosures, deadening sound transmission and absorbing unwanted reverberation within the enclosure.

Tips:

Use this system for applications calling for more durability. The standard QBS-1 skin can tear, while this vinyl backed barrier curtain has more resistance to abuse.

Installation Techniques:

Vertical suspension from either the ceiling of the facility, against a common wall, or from a floor mounted frame. The curtains are designed for easy installation as well as portability. Standard installations include free hanging them via grommets from the ceiling or portable frame mounts. Interconnect blankets for continuous coverage with velcro strips. Die cut custom applications also available for OEM or enclosure linings.
