SelectSound Black Blankets are soundproofing pads that can be affixed direct to a wall or ceiling assembly to deaden sound wave reflections within a room.  These pads absorb up to 80% of the sound striking its surface.   They are dimensionally stable and will not shrink or warp, they will not rot or corrode.  The material is an all black fiber product encapsulated in a black mat surface.   The material is class A fire rated and availalbe in 6' wide x 50' long rolls, offering 300 square feet coverage per roll of material.

Standard treatments for this material include anchoring direct to a black metal corrugated roof in a commercial space to mitigate noise cost effectively, or as a layering treatment behind a stretch fabric wallcovering.
