dB-Drapes are solid reinforced mass loaded vinyl sound barrier curtains designed to sustain their own weight for vertical suspension and isolate loud industrial noise.   These noise control curtains are sound insulation curtains that combat airborne sound waves.    The noise reduction from these free-hanging sound deadening blankets can trigger 15-20 dB drops or more.    These dB-Drapes sound curtains for blocking noise are portable, class A fire rated, and available in 54" x 30' rolls.

Remember that this is a barrier material only, no absorption.    The material works well to define and separate one acoustic space from another, but not as well as our blankets do if you are wanting to suspend these around a sound source.    Whereas the blankets serve to block noise and absorb the energy trapped within the enclosed area, these dB-Drapes won't.    They will hold the noise to one side, but let the sound reflect elsewhere and potentially bleed out.     Use these drapes as a suspended sound barrier wall, but not as an enclosure system.   For full enclosure treatments, opt for the QBV Blankets.
