Problem: Acoustic control is a must in any broadcast, recording, voiceover, editing or control room studio setting for all TV and Radio Stations. Noise isolation,
transmission loss, and reverberant echo control are all essential for professional broadcast.Goal: To maximum the quality of broadcast sound
by protecting one room's noise from the next and absorbing unwanted sound reflection within each room. Solution: Check with NetWell consultants about the structural
techniques and acoustic barrier materials used to insulate one room's noise from the next. Then treat finished walls or ceilings within each room using a variety of acoustic products designed to absorb noise
reverberation and enhance the quality of your sound. Products:
dB-Bloc acoustic barrier vinyl is a limp weighted heavy mass material designed to block sound tranmission from room to room. Ideal for isolation
between control and broadcast rooms. Ask NetWell about installation techniques and other structural wall treatments available to ensure maximum effect! Fabric Wall Panels are available in 40 colors and cut to any size required. These are compressed fiberglass panels designed for gluing or clipping to wall surfaces. Use
the 2" thickness if music with bass noise is prevalent, or the 1" thickness if human voice is the sole noise source. Wrapped in a Guilford cloth, these panels are the product of choice for the ultimate in
aesthetics!
Silex Panels
are a 1" flat melamine foam based product faced with the Silence Wallcovering material. The additional thickness allows for increased absorption coefficients where bass noise is prevalent. Note the
sides will be exposed. VET Baffles
are 2'x4' fiberglass panels wrapped in colorful PVC skins and suspended vertically from the ceiling. They are ideal for treating echo in larger studio settings. Silence Wallcovering is a thin, ribbed polyester fabric material designed
for controlling human voice. Not recommended for bass noise control stemming from musical instruments. Ideal for offices, hallways, and backdrops on sets! Ceiling Tiles are 2'x2' squares of melamine foam designed for gluing direct to a finished ceiling or to place into an existing grid structure.
Pyramid Foam Panels are a less expensive and more popular alternative to
the fiberglass panels. They will absorb about 80% of the noise reflection within your room. They can be glued or velcroed to your wall surfaces, and are perfectly
symmetrical for uniform alignment. A pleasing look with a wonderful result. Cover 50-70% of your wall space, and opt for the 3" thickness if
bass music is prevalent, where the 2" is fine if human voice is your only noise source!
