VET Baffles are the most popular sound baffle sold at NetWell Noise Control.   These acoustical baffles absorb sound in a variety of settings, from industrial plants to gymnasiums.   The noise reduction baffles also serve to quiet barking dogs in dog kennels and control animal noise in animal shelters.    These hanging baffles absorb sound reflections to lower decibel level exposure.    VET Baffles are 2'x4' in size and available in 9 PVC skin colors.    These acoustic baffles are waterproof and class A fire rated. 

These are our most popular baffle.    The standard size is 2'x4', although we can cut the baffles larger for oversized rooms.    The material is class A fire rated and water resistant.    The baffles are made with a fiberglass core encapsulated in a PVC skin.    We grommet two corners for you for you to slip your own wire through to free hang from your ceiling.     For vaulted ceilings, you can hang them in parallel rows to one another, but for flat ceilings, we recommend you stagger their installation.    This will help prevent the "combing" effect where noise can reflect in and out of the ceiling without being intercepted by a baffle.

Baffle treatments from a ceiling will work just as well if not better than a wall treatment around your room's perimeter.    Remember that baffles have both sides of their material exposed to air and sound waves, while wall panel systems are typically applied flat to the wall surface, disguising the backside of the piece and limiting your absorption coefficients.

VET Baffles are not as costly as the alternative baffles in our product mix, the PVC skin is less costly, and our heat sealing system is less expensive to produce than the sewn edges we use in our Sail Cloth or Fabric Baffle systems.     For lower ceilings in higher luxury settings where aesthetics are a premium, you might consider opting for the upgraded baffle systems.    But for standard gymnasiums and other lofted multipurpose rooms, these VET Baffles are ideal.

If your ceiling height is lower than 20', or you have a finished ceiling in a moist environment such as a swimming pool, consider the wall mounted VET Panels as a substitute for the VET Baffles.   VET Panels are the same product, but cut to a larger dimension for a mechanical wall mount around the perimeter of your room.
