The Challenge

World Class Technology of McMinnville, Oregon manufactures a variety of orthodontic products.    The surrounding surfaces in their Tooling and Moulding rooms were producing harsh reflective sounds that were delivering unwanted decibel exposure levels to their employees.    Our goal was to protect the employees in these rooms from unwanted decibel level exposure by dropping their dB readings down under 85 dBa.

The Treatment

The Wedge foam panels were able to absorb enough of the unwanted sound reflections in both rooms to lower the exposure levels to the employees down under 85 dB.     The treatment triggered a 6 dB drop in the room, eliminating the need for hearing protection by the machine operators.

The client selected the 3" thick charcoal acoustic Wedge foam panels and adhered them to the ceiling surface in both the Moulding and Tooling rooms.    The Wedges are designed to capture and convert unwanted sound reflections off harsh industrial wall surfaces.

The Result

"The NetWell Wedges made a huge difference in sound control and echo in these normally very loud environments.   Your panels work so well, that we plan to add more in the future.   Thank you!
